Historic Preservation needed?

I was given the opportunity to photograph inside the upper church. This lead to an opportunity to talk at length about their efforts to revitalize the structural integrity of the church. Briefly put, it's a valiant effort and in my opinion most worthy.
I'd suggest historic preservation only upon the collaboration of those who own the church and are doing the work. I, however, openly suggest that the community support their efforts to preserve the integrity of this beautiful old church to remain whole.
These pictures may be difficult to look at without the vision to see what could be possible.

The Old Brick Church

Preserved

Another old church in Fishtown is being converted into apartments thus preserving the structure. Five other churches have been preserved and St Laurentius struggles to be preserved.
The Kensington Methodist Episcopal Church has occupied this site dating back to the beginning of the 18th century. It is best known as "the old brick church." It's in progress converting the church to make it the 6th one preserved. Things change.
I was not allowed to enter the church on several attempts. Still there was something to be captured in a photograph.
