Let It Snow

once in a lifetime

ever have a picnic in the snow when the wind has slowed

when sound is stilled and spoken words leave a frosted trail

where people can see and say, "I wish it was me...."

the warmth is the moment
I'm leaving you it's key

The Christmas Stars

In the heavens

The Christmas tree lights flicker and glow

its reflection shines like a constellation in the night sky

the stars that safely led him back to port

My Daughter's Wedding Day Revisited

That's what daddies do

The pose was suggested by my daughter and I was able to refine the idea and capture it in three shots. It was a look back and the thought of another person that inspired me to process the picture better. It was a bit of a risk for coloration and detail of the dress. I was never afraid of some moment or someone beautiful. I just hope it's pleasing as it pleased me...............as a dad.

How Would You Say It?

Silence

I'll let the wind chase the things I had been chasing through the past year.

I took a chance and let the wind chase me there.

The wind will chase all we place in its care.

The wind....always so near.
