The Friends of Penn Treaty Park hosted the 4th Annual Fishing Derby. Prizes were given for the most fish caught and the largest fish. A limited amount of children size rod and reels were provided. A certificate with a ribbon was presented to all children who participated in the fishing derby.
Congratulations to Michaela Vincenti our winner of the 4th Annual Fishtown Fishing Derby with a catch of a 16.78 inch catfish. George Gurney came in second with two catches of 16.25 and 15.5 inches a piece. Thanks to all who came out on a very chilly morning, especially the children to continue this great Fishtown tradition.
