A Walking Tour of the Neighborhood

Fishtown Philadelphia Pennsylvania USA

I took my camera for a walk over the past days. Our neighborhood has changed from "blue collar" to an upscale and still rising neighborhood. The past won't fade no matter the changes. It's just that kind of spirit that the new arrivals who are planting there roots here are starting to truly understand.
Welcome too our home along Crease Street.

Thompson and Crease St
An empty lot transformed into a garden several years ago. The neighbors are trying to keep it a quite garden but the developers want to build. A worthy quest is in progress to buy the land to preserve the garden. Every little bit helps and so stop by and look for yourself and hopefully make a donation

I wish the women on the roller skates agreed to have her picture taken. It would have been a nice addition in capturing the spirit.
