Corona 182.8800 Centimeters of Caution

Doing it right

Deb's sister was passing by and decided to stop in for awhile. We were glad to have her here. We were most happy that she knew the protocol of social safe distance. Deb captured it in this picture.
It was right after I opened the door that I reached for my Stanley FatMax BladeArmor 16 ft measuring tape. Add it up. I got more than enough. I let out 6 ft . which satisfied both of us.
It just came down to her washing her hands before we relaxed enjoying the gossip. She had a couple of funny stories, you know, the human condition kind of things.
Yes. It seems to have come down to this even with your loved ones. It's best if we go along with safety measures as long as we don't drive each other nuts about it. #coronaart

The Corona Captive Creative Community

Avoid the stain of the mundane

Welcome to the world of social distancing. We should avoid crowds and the usual contacts we normally had. It's best to go out only when there's a real need but otherwise stay in. We can only do the best we can do which is why I'm here to entertain you. Maybe you can entertain us too before I post a singing video which is coming. Comedy routine anyone. I'd love to see poetry written by someone who isn't revealing an underlying mental health issue. Stupid human tricks to the truly talented could keep us entertained while avoiding the cloud.  #coronaart

Today I take you on a journey through the suburbs of Fishtown. Come cross the street into Old Richmond. It is here that you'll travel back in time and re-discover the fading art form of inspired first hand community art. There's a place for it. Add to it.

The Corona Car Corner

I never seen one of theses

Our journey into the Old Richmond also lead us to a surprise spotting of a 1982 Dodge Rampage. The forgotten trucklet found at Gaul and Cumberland. I got to speak with three different people all six feet apart. It looked like a Mexican Stand-off. No one, however, was familiar with this model.
I never saw a Rampage in my life. I didn't even know they were made. They were produced from 1982 to 1984 under the Dodge banner and sold about 40k vehicles before the plug was pulled. It also appeared under the Plymouth banner for one year, 1983, as the Scamp. I only remembered the Scamp by name but no visual.  It was Chrysler's effort to compete against the El Camino and the Subaru Brat.
It's an interesting read if you want know more about this car or (the worst term ever created) trucklet.
Remember to wash your hands every time you come back into your home. #cornoaart

Emoji That!

My story

I was down the basement. Deb called me. No. I was in the kitchen.
"She just came on." Gwen Verdon dancing on the Ed Sullivan Show.
Me, I got a tablet video on YouTube. There's a VHS tape of the Last Minute Jam at Dobb's.
There's audio of the last time I saw Jane.

before you can not go back, before it's too late to avoid war,
before you say I love you,
to know how to leave.

I exhibit classic symptoms of the redundant man. The Terms of Service Contract agreement button had been pressed.
It, in a way, applies to the daily three or four e-mails from Publisher's Clearing House.
You too can win. No purpose necessary.

There's yet another high defamation video posted on YouTube
The sound cloud, its music, sees the night extend once again.
Now, it's timeless silence in gathered pictures.
I really need new glasses living out my usefulness.

The urge creating a new chapter of identity. "Mars Needs Women."
Idle hands is the artist' workshop. Re-creation, "so who's gonna know," can emerge.
Creating the created. Prescription dark glasses from the drug store rack.
A kid my age hearing myself quoting myself....Joni sings.

You know it's never been easy whether you do or you do not resign.
Whether you travel the breadth of extremities or stick to some straighter line*
"Mars Needs Women." I landed on the Moon.
They're all straight lines, intersections, interventions, uncontrollable intentions
